Dancefondue is a visual hotchpotch
of modern dancetheatre with elements of Contemporary
Dance, Streetdance, Butoh, Tango and Acting. The order
of dinner correspond directly to our history after 9-11.
Am I awake or am I dreaming? The world presented
on this peep-show stage are farytaile grotesque, wavering
and vulnerable.
We all hanging with our heads downunder
from this variegated earth, where the gravitation only
keep us on top of the ground. Live is a long, long dream.
We hang dangling in between the space balance looking
amazed from this ball of earth into the big endless universe.
We follow the dancer, how
she breaks through many layers searching
for herself. Or do we experience own layers of perception;
which says which is the inner and which is the outer?
On
a hot summerday I always have the feeling, space and
time overlap in the heat of highnoon. Then the landscape
grows stiff. The blue sky and the white clouds, the
brooks and the green fields are frozen to ice. And then
the sounds dam up on the blanket surface of the day. So
it's becoming the loudest day of the year, the frozen
summerday.
If a hungry
parasite with its hungry jaws makes itself noticed and
lives from your memories, give him also your body to eat
until it continuously becomes bigger, eating all of you.
Then let it dance. That is all.
